- That's 3 BBQ for 50 people everyone gets 1lb of meat per serving.( remember lots of different cuts) There will also be 50-70lbs ground left over to make hamburgers, meatloaf, shepards pies, etc. Which could be another 3 meals for 50 people. This is a really good deal. I may still find better. Sherry is getting some info on hunters and other cattle people. The 1/2 cow is the way. Comes fully packaged and labelled. It will all fit in the 12cuft freezer.
- Soups for $100 per 32 lb frozen (16 quarts) - It's 8-10 quarts per Kettle warmer. We will always have 2 Soups each meal. Any leftovers go to next meal. But for larger builds it's 16 quarts for 50 people. Smaller bowls 8 quarts for 50. We are doing it as a meal so I was doing 2 kettles. 1lb =.5 quarts. That would mean all main meals will be @ $3 and small cup a soup for @ < $2 OSE cost for gourmet soup, stews or chilli.
- Large chunks of meat and growing our own vegetables, raising our own meat will create our agriculture curriculum and save enormous money = longterm success.
If we prepare from scratch grow our ingredients we will save on our highest financial payable.
