Determine that having access to the database would help me figure out stuff

  • Figure out the appropriate command
  • Add the array population to Nikolay's php skeleton.

  • Discuss technical approaches with Nikolay
  • Rewrite as a bash script with caching

Realize that I misunderstood Nikolay's request for caching

  • Discuss with Nikolay the definition and experience of "badge"
  • Discuss with Nikolay and Joe the concept of security
  • Realize that Nikolay had asked originally for information in the CiviCRM database rather than the Drupal database and that CiviCRM has a different API for accessing the data
    • Determine that I should write this in PHP using the CiviCRM API rather than my bash script hack job
    • Subtly request CiviCRM database credentials

  • Populate my log with a history based on email
