Introduction
Different support levels indicate different rates of development.
Zero Budget Program
Under zero-budget operation with on-demand fund-raising of about $2k/month, we can:
- 9.27.09 - Finish mud sprayer, test on CEB structure walls
- 9.28-10.3.09 - First week of October, CEB Prototype II testing - 5000 bricks pressed
- 10.5.09 - 10.31.09 - CEB Prototype III Build; addition of automation to hydraulic system
- Main issues - hydraulic solenoids, Arduino control limit switch logic integration
- November 1 , 2009 - Product Release, CEB Press. Initial release includes:
- Design drawings (help needed)
- Fabrication documentation (at least from Prototype II fabrication)
- Cost Structure - $2500 for DIY production (labor discounted); $7000 for turnkey product; price may be adjusted after production optimization
- Factor e Farm production level - 4 machines per month initially, may be scaled if needed
- November 2-30 - Tractor Prototype 2 with Power Cube 2
- December - Tractor Prototype 3 with existing Power Cubes
Accelerated Program Under $10k budget operation with grid connection
There is a possibility of bringing some skilled people into the operation, but the constraint is to survive December-February weather. See Average_Temperature_in_Kansas_City.
Under the condition that local support can be gathered, then a combination of camper and heated Solar Cubicles would be acceptable. Heating can be accomplished with a longwood stove, which can be fitted with a heat exchanger.
Scenario 1:
- Local help to dismantle and move Solar Cubicle to new site. 1 Day.
