WHO are you?

  • Resume/CV - Well, I'm certainly not the most useful kind of collaborator, but my interest in this project with all the chances it offers, is strong.I'm mostly interested in translating wiki pages into German language.I'm a trained programmer (this sounds more in English, as it is, hehe...) but I stopped working in that area, because my interest in it as a source of income vanished. I'm studying musicology and German literature and linguistics at the moment.Eventually, I'm more a kind of dreamy artist guy... but maybe someday, the GVCS might give me the chance to stop whining about the need to work as a "wage slave" in the end, and to start doing the things I really want to do: Meeting interesting people, having good conversations and exploring and evolving as an artist.

WHY are you motivated to support/develop this work?

  • Do you endorse open source culture?

I do, and I couldn't think of a better way to collaborate and to evolve as a society.

  • Why are you interested in collaborating with us?

I think this project could really change something in society --- and I draw some hope from it for myself.

  • How do you think that the GVCS can address pressing world issues?

By developing and spreading plans and methods for building machines for covering the basic needs of life.

  • What should happen so that you become more involved with the project?

I think I should finish my studies and get rid of my debts first, getting some steadyness into my life.

  • What is missing in the project?

Nothing I could name at the moment... and it is evolving very fast after all.

  • What are your suggestions for improvement of the project?

Nothing at the moment.

WHAT are your skills?

  • List all of your skills in these areas: Communications - Organizational - Computer Support - Finances - Design - Natural Building - Electronics - Automation - Metallurgy - Engineering - Fabrication - Agriculture - Energy - Architecture - Video/Graphics/Art - PR/Marketing - Education - Construction - Industry - CNC - Chemistry - Product Design - Other

Well I have to admit, that I'm by no means a handyman. I'm all fingers and thumbs, so to speak.I'm a professionally trained programmer (well, kind of... I stopped working in this area, as it wasn't my cup of tea in the end) and I think I can work myself into software stuff quite fast.

  • How have you already contributed to the project?

I translated some of the wiki pages and some texts for OSE Germany.

HOW can you help?

  • How are you interested in contributing to the work of GVCS development?

My main interest is in helping to translate texts into German language and to proofread them.

  • Can you volunteer to work with us, and if so, how many hours per week?

I can't state a clear number of hours at the moment.

  • Are you interested in working with us for pay? If so, what services can you offer, and what is your hourly or per-project rate?

If the whole German/Europe group evolves into something really big, maybe I will be interested.

This sounds like a very interesting idea, but I'm unsure, if I could be of any help at the moment, regarding technical work. Anyway, I know, I wouldn't feel well below some basic level of comfort, so I would jump in later.

  • Are you interested in purchasing equipment from us to help bootstrap development?

I don't think so, since I'm by no means a technical skilled person ;)

  • Are you interested in bidding for consulting/design/prototyping work?

Same thing goes here.

I have literally no income at the moment...

  • Would you like to see yourself working with us on a full-time basis?

If the whole German/Europe group evolves into something really big, maybe I will be interested.

  • Are you interested in being part of the world's first, open source, resilient community? The GVCS is the preparatory step for the OSE Village Experiment – a 2 year, immersion experiment (2013-2014) for testing whether a real, thriving, modern-day prototype community of 200 people can be built on 200 acres using local resources and open access to information? We are looking for approximately 200 people to fill a diverse array of roles, according to the Social Contract that is being developed. This may be the boldest social experiment on earth - a pioneering community whose goal is to extend the index of possibilities regarding harmonious existence of humans, ecology, and technology.

Let's see first, how the whole German/Europe project will shape up :)
