I've mainly been looking at the following:

1. https://shop.prusa3d.com/en/3d-printers/180-original-prusa-i3-mk3-kit.html
2. Support; the prusa are much better supported than all the monoprice, Anet A8, etc clones
3. Will it set my house on fire?

• Prusa has a better track record than clones

1. Upgradability
2. Robustness of parts

Ironically, print quality is my lowest criteria.

Your demo on a rickety folding table was extremely impressive.
