Power Cube 50

Create a more powerful power cube utilizing a mid-90's era Geo Metro 1.0L 3 cylinder engine. 50 HP is plenty of power indeed for a small tractor, these engines are extremely compact.

Things to consider:

  1. making power cube a little larger to accomodate?
  2. water cooling radiator
  3. hydraulic cooling radiator
  4. blower
  5. fuel tank
  6. hydraulic tank

GPM X PSI X .0007 = horsepower

GPM = Horsepower/(PSI*.0007)

GPM = 50/(3000*.0007) GPM = 24 GPM

RPM X Pump Displacement / 231 = gpm

RPM = 4000 ( 30+ HP out of the metro engine)

Pump Displacement = GPM * 231 / RPM

Displacement = 24 * 231 / 4000

Displacement = 1.39 Cubic Inch = 22.7 cubic centimeters
