Open Source Licenses

For Hardware 2 license options:

• Go to Open Source Hardware and put the logo on your hardware, hardware designs, schematics, etc and provide some kind of license file with it.
• Go to CERN Open Hardware License and follow the instructions.

For Software

• GPL - [1] Once under GPL derivatives must remain under GPL.
• FreeBSD - [2] Once under FreeBSD, derivative licences can be changed.

For Software, Music and Video

• Creative Commons - [3] Craft your own license, you choose what attributes you want to have associated with it.

Public Domain

• Once declared with a legal statement that something is in the public domain, you can use it as you want but not copyright it:)
