Vinyl Siding Nailer

  • Uses wide head nails which do not slip through slots of the vinyl siding
  • Not same as roofing nailer, but can use roofing nails
  • Has a mechanism for adjusting to the correct vertical spacing of vinyl slots
  • Uses coil nails
  • Roofing nails are ok for vinyl siding - for their wide head [20]

Coil Roofing Nail Gun - 15 degree

  • Can run 15 degree coil galvanized siding nails through a coil roofing nailer? Yes if you know what you are doing. [22]. Another yes - [23]. Otherwise, you hear 'only roofing nails' or '15 degree nails up to 1.75" long'
