Intro
Dupont connectors are common 0.1" separation connector pins and headers on Arduinos and other common boards. These are crimped and take 1 minute per crimp, compared to MTA-100 connectors which can be done in 1/3 the time. See Wire Connectors.
Options
Use Ethernet cable, which is free as scrap and a great way to recycle wire.
