Validation of the value or integrity of something by an active means, without a presumed infinite lifetime - where infinite lifetime is common of money or other social contracts. Permanence is not always good. OSE envisions a world which includes both permanence and impermanence.
OSE proposes that Global Steward characteristics are important to fulfill the validator role.
