Stormproof Matches are a "Step Up" From Waterproof Matches in terms of rugged-ness, and in some cases are also Waterproof Matches
They typically contain some sort of Oxidizer such as Sodium Perchlorate or Potassium Perchlorate to allow for (partial) combustion even when buried in dirt/debris, or even if put underwater (after being lit)
A bit more expensive, but typically a bit larger than the average Safety Matches / Waterproof Matches and given that the only real use case for matches short of Historical Relevance / As a Curioisity is for Dissimilar Redundancy in Supplies for Emergencies etc, they are a more apt purchase due to their more rugged nature

Determine Long Term Storage Viability / Potential Issues ( Organic Peroxide Formation / Other Instability from Storage )
Determine Dud Rate / How that relates with Storage Time (Mainly in order to determine a proper Shelf Life for planning maintaining various emergency supplies)
Track down some SDS on these + mess around with DIY/OS Mixtures

Matches
- Safety Matches (The "normal" match)
- Waterproof Matches ( "Normal" Matches Coated in Something In Order to be Waterproof BEFORE They Are Used (No Effect After Ignition, Water will still Extinguish Them)
Firestarting Rope (Some sort of Rope (Typically Jute Rope ) Infused with something such as Paraffin Wax to waterproof it + aid in combustion
- These plus a Lighter and/or Ferro Rod make a viable alternative to matches in most cases
- For Gas Stoves/Gas Mantle Lanterns a Piezoelectric Lighter or Plasma Lighter / Lighter / Permanent Match etc will suffice
