OSE's goal is to produce quality higher than industry standards. Better performance, lower cost, longer lifetime, better design, faster to build, easier to maintain.

In terms of build effectiveness - we measure all of our productivity and correlate it to pay. We are setting oulier pay (top 2%) as the benchmark for professional grade pay scale in any of the trades.

For the 2 hours of actual build time, we can offer competitive pay - each apprentice can test and document their productivity. This is primarily for the purpose of calculating build cost and optimizing build technique.

Every single part of the build is documented for realistic build time. The builds are done by peak performers (such as rednecks with PhDs, industry professionals with decades of experience, etc) as well as all apprentices.

We set 'outlier pay' as that achieved by the above peak performers - and it may be $30-50 per hour - see
