Every project should have a communication channel that people can join. Since development can fork to many versions, anyone is free to start their own communication channel for a specific discussion. However, it is critical that the communication channel is visible. For example, it is fine if a next prototype is started, and a new communication channel is started with that new version. This makes the discussion most relevant to the specific Development Board.
