For any GVCS machine, there can be as many source files as there is file formats - for 3D & 2D CAD files, CAE analysis files, animations, circuit, interior design, manufacturing files, diagrams, schematics, infographics, and many others.
A single 3D CAD file can be converted into a whole tree of assets:
