Straw from barley/rice/wheat is an effective and sustainable insulating material which can be formed into rigid panels for building construction. Stramit StrawBoard is manufactured from straw of rice, wheat or barley in a low energy process that uses only heat and pressure to transform straw into solid board. A bonded surface of recycled paper is applied and the board is then cut to panel length. Process
