I'm a professional agronomist, and have been studying sustainable agriculture for the last several years, first working with open field perennial tropical poly-culture systems, and now specializing in closed controlled environment and soil-less systems. I'm a certified crop adviser, a certified greenhouse grower, and have taken three PDC's in three different climate zones (Marando/Cal-Earth/IMAP); my work in agronomy has taken me all over the world, where I have given talks and presentations on the subjects of food access, agroecology, and permaculture. My goal is to go beyond sustainability, and bring ecologically regenerative practices to large scale commercial operations.
