then run:
Installed and P90X3 does not show up on file system, nor does VLC see anything to open.

Search for 16.04 - other howtos on installing video codecs did not work
to install libdvdcss2 library, that is not included in offical repos due to legal reasons. Now all DVD movies should play like a charm.

VLC won't play DVD movies

Need to install:
