Open Source Pit Latrine

Basics

- A very basic/rudimentary toilet

- Uses a sealed pit with one or more seat stalls above it

- Is more safe for the enviroment and the local population due to the containment it provides of the waste, when compared to open defocation or an unsealed latrine

- Must be periodically emptied, preferably by a Open Source Vacuum Truck

- Is very accesible, especially compared to other options such as flush toilets
