This is a procedure for organizing OSE speaking events, to be performed by an Admin Assistant.
The admin assistant:
- Prepares a contract
- Organizes travel if Client cannot book travel
- Follows up with client
- Organizes any addition events before or after speaking engagement, such as a workshop.
Procedure
- To prepare a contract, send the Speaker Contract Form to the client. See the sample Admin Email for Speaking Engagements.
- Review answers linked below the Speaker Contract Form, and fill out a Speaker Contract to send to the client.
- Send contract for a signature to the Client and negotiate any outstanding issues.
- Sign the contract electronically, and email the signed contract to ops@opensourceecology.org
