Basics
- Part of the Open Source Digital Fabrication Construction Set
- It is essentially a massively scaled up (most likely garage/warehouse sized) D3D Fiberglass Printer
- It will also most likely require a Open Source Cleangarage to prevent dust buildup due to the long print time, and unenclosed nature of the giant build area
- Also require a heated build chamber...but at room scale
- It may also use the larger universal CNC axis (The same one as the CNC Torch Table)
- This may seem daunting, but it will provide custom designed, mass produced hulls for the Open Source Watercraft Construction Set
Used For
- The printing of watercraft hulls
- The printing of molds/forms for watercraft hull construction by conventionaal means
