- Safety - hold with 2 hands, with work piece in a vise
- Keep guard on - note location of guard so it protects fingers, ie, the guard is between blade and fingers. Gueard can be rotated.
- Philips screw tightens guard around a ring. Make sure guard is on the ring, not too close to the blade.
- Red round button locks blade.
