Introduction
The purpose of the Open Source Rubber Extruder is to enable printing of vehicle tires from thermoplastics. Car tires weigh 20 lb, and 16" truck tires weigh about 30 lb. The maximum extrusion rate on open source 3D printers is currently 5 lb per hour (see Moarstruder
