DIY Notes
While extremely useful, no single decent open source design exists for an Arduino-driven, switch mode, offline power supply converting to 12 or 24 volts. There is a number of examples of complicated switching in DC-DC, but nothing for 120AC to 24VDC supply such as for a 3D printer (250W) or a small welder (2kW) - which could both be very powerful, useful use cases.
