Procedure
- Select convenient length
- Select max temp - such as 550C = 1000F
- Match gauge to proper voltage drop of 120V
- Match gauge to temperature rise
- Limit for 15A outlet is 1800W
Examples
- 10m of 22 ga wire will draw 370W at 120V - to attain a temperature of 500F. This may be a good 12" heat bed.
