Basics
- The Long Distance Transmission of Power Using Microwave Radiation
- Perhaps simpler than Laser Based Wireless Power Transmission
- Not Very Efficient outside of Space (In which case it is quite efficient, and the one of the few usable methods (along with Laser Based Wireless Power Transmission)
- Hasn't Been Used Large Scale, but has been teste, and has been proposed for orbital/high altitude solar power farms that utilize higher efficiency without earth's atmosphere blocking sunlight, and the lack of space (pun?) constraints that beam power back to a base station receiver
- Pie in the Sky, yet acheivable
- May Also have a use case for Remote Areas, and Drones/Aricraft/Spacecraft
