Basics

• One of the simplest Gene Insertion Techniques for Gene Editing along with Electroporation and Gene Guns
• Uses Rapid Thermal Cycling of a mix of Microorganism, Growth Media , DNA to be Inserted, and Calcium Chloride
• All that is really needed is the microorganism, the dna one wants to insert, wetware, a heating block or bath, and a lab refrigerator, freezer, or cooling bath
