Basics
- Part of the Geodesic Dome Workflow
- Preferably a linux/windows program that can be integrated into OSE Linux
- Could also be a collective name for a pile of plugins (For Freecad, Sweethome 3D , and OpenFoam
- Some sort of software application that blends a CAD/Sweethome 3D Kit/Workflow with calculation software to
- Determine the surface area of the dome's exterior
- Produce templates for the cloth cover
- Allow these templates to be sent as instructions (Gcode?) to the Open Source Linear Knitting Machine, or some sort of CNC cutting device for premade fabric
- Can also use the template as a Sewing Guide for assembly if the design requires multiple peices
- Decide how many Geodesic Dome Structual Beams and Geodesic Dome Connectors the design will require (Also allow the use of Geodesic Dome Structual Panels )
