Basics

  • A Category of Elastomer that have similar properties to Natural Rubber
  • Typically also able to be Vulcanized
  • A Common example is neoprene in wetsuits
  • Due to the petrochemical source, they are easier to produce in countries without much Natural Rubber Supply
