Respirator Fit Testing

Basics

• A Proper seal for respirators is neccisary for thei function
• Thus before device approval, and individual use, the device must be tested
• Usually done with the user wearing it, and using some sort of no/low har chemical to see if the user can smell etc it leaking in
• Another method is using sensors and an aerosol to detect if it works
