Basics

• A printed object made to push out the remainder of one filament when swapping filaments
• Used mainly in Filament Swapping Devices
• Can be replaced (at least partially with) "purge to infill settings", but still may be needed
• Is either wasted or recycled
• May present challenges in recycling, as it is either mixed color, material, or both
