Basics

• The 5th (depending on how you count it) generation of cellular communications technology
• is not used by our lizzard overlords to give us COVID-19, but does allow for VERY fast wireless communicastions
• Once adopted and widespread will be very useful for:
  • Autonomous Vehicles
  • Mobile Internet
  • Robotics
  • Internet of Things
• It DOES come at the sacrifice of using a very weak wavelength and thus needs many towers
