Basics

  • An abbreviation for Polyphenylene sulfide
  • Is useful for it's high melting point (~218 C) and it's resistance to acids, alkalies, mildew, bleaches, aging, sunlight, and abrasion
  • It is useful in coatings seals and membranes for the aforementioned reasons
