Revision as of 03:09, 19 March 2021
Basics
- Essentially a Concave Mirror formed by either a layer of Metal Foil or Metallzied Film (mylar) , and a special container (either like a "satellite dish" or just a tube with the propper fittings on one side), and a suction/vacuum source
- The vacuum "pulls" the foil back due to atmospheric pressure
- Thus a relitively "perfect" mirror is made from common materials with little need for polishing/metal forming
- It Does Not however have the best preformance, but cost/simiplistic nature may mean you can just make 2x the mirrors etc
