Basics
- Often shortened to Photovoltaic Thermal collectors, and abbreviated as PVT
- A Combination of a Photovoltaic Panel and a Solar Hot Water Heater
- Cools the PV panel, increasing it's efficiency, and produces hot water (or another working fluid)
Off the Shelf Options
Dual Sun
- Their hybrid model is called the "Spring" panel
- Their Product Page
- Power Quote From This Page
- "A DualSun panel has a thermal power output of 404 watt peak (thermal unit) for domestic hot water use as well as a photovoltaic power capacity of 280 watt peak (electric), adding up to a total of 684 W / panel"
