Basics
- A process for creating Fiber-Reinforced Plastic filament (or pellets via a Filament Chopper for injection molding applications)
- It involves pulling a Fiber through either a vat of Resin that is then cured via UV and/or Heat, or through molten or powdered Thermoplastic (need specifics on how thermoplastic is done)
- Could allow for Continuous Fiber-Reinforced 3D Printing to be done with standard FDM 3D Printers rather than having a filament extruder and fiber layer toolhead, so in the same method as Chopped Fiber-Reinforced FDM Filament
- Also used for coating Carbon Fiber and Magnet Wire in a thin coating of plastic
