Basics

With the technologies of:
Engines may be able to designed in a modular manner, since valve trains, etc are much less "locked in"
The thermals / CFD , etc will still take considerable development, but Tooling and some aspects of the overall assembly is simplified
Also the modular aspect of Coil on Plug and Actuator on Valve systems lends itself to ease of maitnence, as well as automation/swarm builds
