  • $900 for a system- 45x80 inch [1]. By area - 2.3 sq meter is 2 kW output?
  • 2 kW heat - what would it take with PV? 2kw * 0.36 = $720 for equivalent solar array.
  • Given the large physical plant cost of hot water - PV is easier and cheaper. The advantage is in easier mounting, and integration with existing systems.
