Basics

  • Concrete that is reinforced by fibers
  • These fibers can be biological/natural (Hay), Synthetic (Kevlar), or material fibers (metal fibers, fiberglass, carbon fiber)
  • Fulfills the same purpose as regular reinforcement techniques, only stronger
  • Used for high strength applications and for shotcrete that doesn’t require weldmesh
