Basics

  • The Basics Are:
    • Flat position (Like A Flat Table, The Easiest)
    • Horizontal position (Going Horizontally on something you are facing, like a Wall)
    • Vertical position (Going Vertically on something you are facing, like a Wall)
    • Overhead position (Any welding done where the weld seam is above your head) ( Need to double check that there is no distinction between Overhead Horizontal vs Vertical (or X vs Y to be technical i guess?))
  • This can then be extended to the Surface Preparation done ( Fillet or Groove Weld )
  • Also if it is Plate or Pipe is Specified
