This is a certification to be offered by OSE, which validates various time-saving aspects of OSE design:
- Ease and speed of build
- Ease and speed of maintenance
- Low cost of build, use, and maintenance - thereby freeing up one's energy or money for other pursuits
- Elimination of downtime by using common, off-the shelf, substitutable, or widely available parts whenever possible
- Industrial productivity on a small scale
- Lifetime design via robustification
All these can be quantified, compared to industry standards, and promoted as value propositions for OSE products. Such 'ingredients' can be communicated on product labels.
