We believe that large distributed teams - working collaboratively and openly - can produce better results than centralized, proprietary corporations. However, this requires collaborative literacy - the skill set and mindset of collaboration unleashed beyond boundaries of organizations and including the public. This requires a new level of discipline, not yet found I society.
