Basics

This page is made to clear up the confusing usage of the term "Weld Repair"
Can refer to:
- Cosmetic Welding (Repairing of a Casting or Similar Part in a manner less concerned with severe structural issues, but moreso Pitting etc. Similar in workflow to Hardfacing )
- Weld Reworking (The Process where a Failed Weld is removed, either by an Angle Grinder / Rotary Tool etc, or via Gouging
- Heavy Equipment Repair etc done with welding, but not necessarily on an existing weldment. This is mostly outside of OSE's Scope for Now
