Basics
- A Type of Liquid Castable Silicon Elastomer (Aka Silicone Rubber ) that Cures / Vulkanizes at Room Temperature (See STP , but usually 20-22 Degrees Celsius)
- Used mainly as a material for Metal Casting or as a Sealant (it can be put into a groove to act as an O-Ring that is "cast in place" to an extent)
- Often Abbreviated as RTV Silicone
