I wonder to what degree dirt/dust accumulating on the surface would impact performance. Some sort of thing akin to a Roof Rake but for scrubbing perhaps? That or you make some goofy Clean in Place System with sprinklers? I'm intrigued.

I need to see if Acrylic, Polycarbonate, Glass, Sapphire, or CVD Diamond are transparent to the proper frequency, these may "self clean" better.

Also just Design for Upkeep / Design for Maintenance Access could be a solution as well (Have a walkway or a modern version of a Putlog hole , or even just make it so someone on a ladder or Scissor Lift with a tool can ergonomically clean the whole roof)

Granted this is all hypothetical, will have to actually make one of these roofs/panels one day and get actual data, enough pondering for now!
