  • 215/70R15 - after R is the inner diameter of tire. Refers to rim size. 70 is width of tread. [1]
  • Big tractor tire sizes JD - [2]. Typical are 77 and 81" OD tires, weighing 400-600 lb [3]. Example: 15000 lb load tire weighs 650 lb [4]

Tires cost $5/lb.

  • 10k lb tire, weighing about 400 lb - $2000 [5]
