Basics
- A System in Wheeled Vehicles where pressure is not only Actively Monitored (Re: Tire Pressure Monitoring System ) but activly adjusted
- This can be done for multiple reasons:
- Pressure can be adjusted to be higher for on-road efficiency, or lower for offroad capability (especially on sandy/wet surfaces etc)
- Also it can allow for a " Run Flat" type capability, even with standard tires
- Despite being not as capable as a proper Height Adjustable Suspension , it can in some cases adjust overall vehicle height slightly
