Recovering one's Genius refers to studies that show that 98% of 2-year olds have creative genius, but by the time they grow up, only 2% have creative genius. This introduces the notion that genius is somehow lost - so we claim that genius can be maintained if we are, first, aware of the possibility, and practice retaining our genius by first understanding more about genius.
