About
- 3 lengthwise strings
- 3 bypass diodes
- Lose 1/3 power for shading even a single cell in a string
- But, entire string will run at 1/3 power loss? One panel knocks out a string - [1]
Solutions
- Run parallel instead of string as much as possible. Tradeoff between wiring requirement and shading optimization.
- Microinverters
- Bypass diodes - can we add 6 diodes instead of usual 3? Or more?
