The billets are produced on site with melt to crucible to vibrating water-cooled copper letting the melted steel out.

*Billet, cut to smaller chunks. Square rolled, cut again into smaller chunks. Then the round rolling. Cut again, as strands are quite long.

*6" piece gives about 1 stick of 20' of rebar
*Roll 6" back and forth, each time clamping down on the diameter - flat rolling with 2 sets of rollers at right angles to each other - can take the billet and continuously stretch it out. Interchangeable rollers can produce shaft at any diameter, starting with 3" and down to any desired size including wire.

  • 3" billet is about 25lb/ft [1]
  • 6" piece gives about 1 stick of 20' of rebar
  • Roll 6" back and forth, each time clamping down on the diameter - flat rolling with 2 sets of rollers at right angles to each other - can take the billet and continuously stretch it out. Interchangeable rollers can produce shaft at any diameter, starting with 3" and down to any desired size including wire.
