- upon first freeze, open access panel in kitchen to shut off hose bib. Disconnect hose and open bib to drain water y gravity.
- Normal operation is on hybrid mode with PV priority. Grid fills any power needed up to kW not counting the 14kW water heater. If you need more than 6 kW house power for heavy appliances, switch to the grid using transfer switch.
- Under normal summer conditions, use only the 1.5 kw mini tank heater. If you need more hat water, turn on the on-demand heater.
- Turn transfer switch to PV and shut off DC PV supply if you are working on household electrical. Also turn off main disconnect.
- To get heating or cooling into the bedrooms, each bedroom has its own powered vent.
